2 Groups from North Leeds, 7th St Matthews and 8th Staenwald were on hand to give out 6000 bottles of water, hand out goodie bags and award finishers medals for the Leeds 10k.
Well done also to 3 of our North Leeds leaders, Hannah, Laura and Sophie for completing their first ever 10K race, as well as all the other North Leeds Leaders and parents who passed the finish line.
The scouts were also given the honour of holding the winners finish line tape.
Scouts made an great impression on the lead marshal who was full of praise for the effort and support the scouts gave the runners as they collected their medals, she said she had never worked with such a great bunch of kids and they outshone the other adult volunteers. Well done!
